Lots of babies have been bathed in the Pennington kitchen sink although not all have had their picture taken at the time. The first picture below (guess who?) was made in 1957 or 1958 and the second one in 1984 (guess who?). Same sink, twenty-seven years later. The sink is still in use although not in its original location, and no babies have filled its basin in a long time, but I bet one day a third generation will grace the sink and a snapshot will be taken of the momentous occasion.

In the Robinson household, the song "You musta been a beautiful baby" "musta fit!" Our Mike's first Easter picture with his little basket was made when he was 4 days old and the photo of him over my shoulder shows the inexperience of the new mother's first attempts at diapering him!
Mikey was about 6 weeks old when the kitchen sink bath was photographed. Ah, the memories - and we have just made it back from the hospital visit with him following yesterday's 3 by pass surgery! He will be fine, but he isn't convinced yet! bettye
Amazing how that looks like the same baby. That old sink held a lot of babies, a lot of dishes, and a lot of other memories.
